One year later, here I am. Yes, it was a tough year, but now breast cancer is behind me. I’m a mom with 2 small kids. I have worked hard to get back to my life and take care of myself. I run, bike, walk and get out and enjoy life with my family. My hair has started to grow back after chemo. It is finally long enough to get Brazilian blowouts. I can’t believe the similarities in our stories!! Soon to be 30 and was dismissed by a surgeon after finding a lump. It started at 1.6 cm and after the surgery it measured 5.3. You are right, be your own advocate!! Just had a lumpectomy and the piece of mind that it’s out is wonderful!! Awaiting the Pathology report is stressing! But your videos are so inspiring!
