Floyd Brooks (www.aphlyonthewallphotography.com) Tip no. 8: Many citrus fruits (such as oranges, lemons, and grapefruit), darkly pigmented fruits (such as cherries, blueberries, cranberries, pomegranates, raspberries and plums), and vegetables (like broccoli, greens, and peas) are rich in Vitamin C and bioflavonoids, many of which are antioxidants. Antioxidants help to increase circulation to the scalp which encourages hair growth. (source www.black-hair-growth.info)

    @0221930 Wow your comment has truly made my evening! I’m glad I can help, I can only imagine how healthy your hair will be 10 years from now knowing the fundamental information you have now (at such a young age). I wish I knew how to take care of my hair at your age. It took me years to get it together lol! :)

    im 17 years old, and maintaining my natural hair is important to me! This Video was extremely informative, especially for someone like me who is young and wanting to keep my natural hair healthy for the rest of my life ..Thanks!

    @onlinebabeful very true

  9. onlinebabeful says:

    You dont have to daily moisturise your hair if you put enough in your hair,for some they do it every other day,too much moisture causes moisture overload,hair weighed down and greasey.

    @JonDeth Oh wow, I’ll have to look into that. Thanks for the tip!

  11. JonDeth says:

    High dose sodium ascorbate(vitamin C + baking soda).
    Notice my hair was growing faster and thicker, then I noticed my ever so slightly thinned devil’s horns were gone. Hairs thicker than ever now.

    I’m on a few other things including arginine so it may indeed be a collective result but daily intake of the Vitamin C also has me cutting my nails 3-4 times a WEEK

    @keshiacole2010 I have stopped taking hair finity, and am using an otc hair, skin, and nail vitamin to compare the results between the two.

  16. keshiacole2010 says:

    Hey do you still use hairfinity!?!

  17. kmbrooksberklee says:

    @trezuremi31 Ironically, I use as little product as possible when my hair is pressed out. Moisturize= frizz, and most of the products I own are water based/for my hair in it’s natural state. Besides the little product that was used to press it out, I add a little sheen spray or glosser about 5 days in just to keep it shiny and smelling nice :) Sometimes I add a little bit of oil to my edges, but that’s about it!
