The client had gone through an FUT / STRIP treatment with poor results. The hair was thin and the scalp was scarred. The client saw the problems with his hair as worse than before he had undergone the operation. He wanted a more natural hairline without having to lower it further.

Dr Ilter: This recreation required 2,000 grafts to create a result that looked natural, with good density and was in line with the client’s wishes.

The client was aware that aggressive hair loss ran in his family. He wanted tackle this problem early and had tired of cutting his hair short because of the thinning area.

Dr. Ilter: When we met the client, he was in his 30s and was already suffering from advanced hair loss. Availability in the donor area was also limited. We began by first increasing density at the front with a single treatment transplanting 2,500 grafts. (Norwood 5A to a Norwood 2)
