A Man called me niggy ? what does it mean? Was he insulting me? He caught me shoplifting.?

Yesterday i was stopped by a prevention loss officer at a supermarket in newyork longisland.. He told me to accompany him to the office and accused me of shoplifting.
There was another employee there ( she was african american)
This man was either mexican or hawain looking.. tanned skin , dark eyes, roundish face and sort of mexican or oriental looking.
I am pakistani , a 30 year old female, i have brown eyes and black hair.
I understand him accusing me or talking loudly to me.. He was doing his job. He didnt frisk me .
But he did say to me.. Why did you do it niggy? Why did you steal from me
What does niggy mean?
He got me arrested ( handcuffed fingerprinted)and now i have a court date 9 for petit larceny , petty larceny)..
Should i hire a lawyer and tell him this?.
or if i dont hire a lawyer , do i bring it up in front of the judge in court?.

niggy or nigger is a really bad name to call a black person
No, you should stop shoplifting.
Name calling wasn’t necessary. Assuming it really happened anyway. But if you stole and you were hauled off to jail then you got what you deserved.
If you did steal something you’re an idiot to begin with. They wouldn’t be able to charge with out proof.

Were you actually shoplifting?
Had you left the premises carrying products from the store that you were not intending on paying for?
If so you were shop lifting which is a crime. The fact that he called you “niggy” is irrellevant.
Calling you niggy is very, very racism that must be stopped at all cause. You see, racism will do no good but the destruction of the entire Humanity.
In order for Humanity to grow and develop, racism must be destroyed.
Sue that good for nothing person who called you by that remarks. Probably staying in jail for such remark will teach him a very good lesson in life.

When this guy called you “niggy” It was a racial term meaning “nigger” or “black person” however “nigger” is a deragatory term. Your best bet in this cirumstance would be to find some good books on law and purchase them. You could turn this slip of tongue in your favour if you can make it look as if he was ethnically profiling you.
