Hey Diva, I’m to the point that I don’t even want to use relaxer.I made a treatment using monistat avocado and honey treatments. Finally my hair line is growing back. It helps my clients and I so much. Check out my video on it. I will send it to you if you want , god bless!

YOUR REALLY FUNNY! BALD!! I LIKE THAT! thanks for the info!!

I have traction alopecia and the you might have to leave everything alone for a good year…I know it might be rough but you will thank yourself in the end…You don’t want to end up like me with no hope for any hair growing back because i didn’t know how to wear my hair natural. No wigs, no heat, no chemicals, and please no braids…I heard black castor oil has helped some women who catch it early enough. If you prolong it it will be unreversable.

  11. constance380 says:

why do you need to wear wigs what about your natural hair :P

  12. cammie790 says:

Who is/was your dermatologist? I’m unfortunately facing the same issue. Also you mentioned if the issue/alopecia is caught “early enough” it can be treated. I’ve had this issue for a couple of years and have been searching for the solution, is it too late?

i will make SURE my daughter protects her hair and do anything to prevent this from happening. even as a baby/kid i see pics and notice my fragile/uneven hair line. but cant blame my mom, she knew no better as a white woman.

  14. nicolofosho says:

…pillow will work. i too saw a dermatologist and she recommended mens liquid rogaine. but i havent noticed an improvement. going to try using castor oil. i just really hope this helps so i can pull my hair back again (not tight) without having to always use a part to cover up the near bald spots (thank God I do have lots of thick long hair to cover it up). but im really insecure about this and petrified. idk if my insurance will cover the shots. wish i knew earlier.

  15. nicolofosho says:

same problem here. im mixed with curly hair. never used a relaxer but my edges started to come out from wearin tight pony tails with my hair slicked back with a soft brush. i stopped doing that around 14, first noticed the hair loss at 10. im now 23 and after retiring all chemicals, heat products and braids my hair is down to my mid/lower back (when pulled straight) but my edges are almost gone. i think sleeping on my side made it worse and a 2 year period of glue in weaves. hoping my new satin

  16. privatepersonalc says:

    use “frenchies!” it works!

  17. londonsoulchild says:

No need for medication buy some Jamaican black castor oil and massage your scalp with it 2/3 times a week… you can add a few drops of essential oils such as tea tree, peppermint or rosemary… and stay away from the glue!

  18. silkyslim2111 says:

O wow you used ultra hold. That glue is so strong and harsh. It caused this one lady I know to have blood clots.

  19. lovelyafroqueen says:

awwwwwwwwww u were such a cute child. Its weird how I will watch videos on a topic, and ur videos just pop up lol. Thank god I found it, b/c I was contemplating on whether or not to glue my lace fronts. Thanks for the video and luv ya too :D

  20. dajewel1982 says:

am sorry to hear about this. honestly, u gotta lay off of adhesives, tight hair styles, wigs, etc. as far as treatments have u used ayurvedic herbs and oils as part of scalp massages, hair cleansing and deep conditioning? such as amla, neem, bhringari oils and powders. neem and amla especially help to regrow hair from alopecia traction.

  21. choclitsexc says:

I have been dealing with the same thing.. my edges are very sensitive even with the synthetic lace front wigs.. they itch so bad and i scratch and my hair is rub off!! I have at least 2 1/2 inches off my front hair line so i have to wear wigs or lace front/sew in..can you tell me the type of wig you have on? your hair styles always look great.. im scared to go to doctor for them shots!

  22. laundryday52 says:

My edges have been thinning for a while and I think it because of the traction of the hard lace and especially the clips in the front because I don’t braid my hair and I miss my edges! I will definitely look into those shots because I didn’t know what I was going to do. Thank you so much for posting this and I hope you post more updates!

  23. kagome304 says:

    How much did it cost?

  24. ebonydyme100 says:

Yes, I agree stop the adhesives. I have experienced alopecia as well from the adhesives.

  25. SongbirdDiva4Life says:

@lover4FASHION girl, if you have sensitive edges like mine, don’t do it. It’s soo not worth the hassle. Besides, your hair is always looking the bomb! :-)
