I go through this shit every 10 years or so. When I was about 10 I had my first bout with Alopecia arreata. About 10 balled spots the size of 50 cent pieces popped up on my head. They sent me to the doctor for all different types of creams to no avail. Then, about 8 months after the first balled spot appeared, all my hair grew back stronger than ever. I was 22 when the next bout of Alopecia hit. Same thing, lasted for about 8 months. Then I was 33 when the last bout hit for 8 mo
I have alopecia arreata. Every 8-10 years I get huge balled spots on my head. I had it at 10, again at 22, and the last time I got it I was 32. I am 35 now. I do not lose all my hair. I get balled spots the size of 50 cent pieces. I get anywhere from 8 to 12 balled spots. I was never teased about it.

I be looking at using Artichoke leaf, Nettle leaf, Heolen, Ziziphus and Astragalus first. I’d also have chiropractic movements especially focusing on Thoracic 2-12, Cervical 1 and 7. You’d also want to address Adrenal function in case minerals are being lost from the body, address the adrenals with adaptogenic herbs like Olive Leaf, Licorice root, Withania, Gotu Kola.

Having alopecia for over 2 years now. I’ve losted over 85% of my hair, had 2 bald spots & losted half of my eye lashes. I’ve been to doctors. And tried just about everything I could think of. I’ve even tried this product. And I must say. It has NOT worked for me. My hair is STILL shedding & lashes are still falling out. So this may NOT WORK FOR EVERY1. =(
@delgirl42 she never had any friends. Real friends stick with you during your tough times. It is during these tough times when you really get to see “clearly” who really are your friends. I’m happy for this little girl as well!

@JaxxProductions In my case my sons blood was tested for any deficiencies or thyroid disorders and all was great. Alopecia is autoimmune therefore the body attacks itself instead of fighting away illnesses. The womens balance increases blood flow which them stimulates the hair growth. Rogaine also claims to do this but the side effects are nasty for a child my sons age.
On of the treatments you list is Fusion Health Multi Vitamin & Mineral. Which would in turn imply that there is a vitamin and mineral deficiency. Would this not have been picked up when the girl above attended a GP and got a blood test?
@awde2 My son is living proof that the product works. He suffered from triangular alopecia and took the product 5 weeks after losing his hair. After taking the fusion products his hair grew back after 13 weeks. Each to their own but in his case the product was not fake and did work.

how can tyhere be a double diagnosis of universalis and totalis?? i thoughtif you had universalis then totalis was already covered in that diagnosis?

I was thinking about posting a video like this, to document my alopecia. Hopefully it has gotten better for you. I have had large spots on the back of my head, but injections have helped some patches grow back.

the first one is just like mine. mine is a little bigger and lower down. i’ve had it for just over 3 month and its getting worse. Alopecia is an auto-immune disease where your immune system attacks your hair, mistaking it as a foreign disease and causes your hair to fall out. most cases your hair grows back but in some, the hair loss can be perminant. thats what my doctor said to me when i was first diagnosed
A lot of black women go bald because of all the chemical poion they put in their hair to straighten it.
You are very inspirational, and brave I have alopecia as well my dermatologist gave me something for mine an it helped but I have been using natural ingridents an oils an i think it helps some with growth and I have noticed stress my enemy which i think makes my hair fall out worse.
But kudos to you for showing off your bald spot you are a very brave woman an you have all my respect because I could never show my spot.

@SintualEvents i got it too i found out it was because of stress so i started going to the gym and now my hair is back i put on rogain my doctor told me the same thing and what was cool is that my doctor had alot of experience with it too so i was cool : )
I had Alopecia for about 7 years now. My symptoms would be: ITCHING OF THE SCALP, INFLAMMED SCALP AND FEELING AS THOUGH SOMETHING WAS CRAWLING IN IT. I noticed a pattern with my hair loss, it would start sheeding from Oct-Jan and then it will start growing back. However, I found something that works for me and its Dr. Mircale Grow Serum. I’m SO happy you put this on here I recently turned 14 and i have alopecia also I have 2 small spots about the size of a quater on on my crown and the other exactly were your smaller one is the one on my crown is starting to grow back after 6 months it’s about 4 in. Now I have hair past my shoulders and it’s premed this just makes me inspired THANKS- rachel

you still pretty girl. hair ain’t everything. you got a long, happy life in front of you. i am paralyzed and in a wheelchair and i still feel blessed…. if you were a white woman you prolly would have killed yourself rather than loose hair, ‘cuz they pretty much worship their hair IMHO
