Electrolysis or Laser Hair removal. Which is more effective at removing hair? Cost and Treatment time, too.?

Many years ago I wanted to have my hairline re-shaped by Electrolysis. I was told that during treatment I would have to let the hair “grow back” between each session. Just the thought of having regrowth visible along my hairline seemed pretty embarassing a choice. I was told that Laser removal pretty much followed the same steps. Is this true?

Laser hair removal works very well, but be careful. It can also cause premature balding!
No it is not true but the variance is subtle. With electrolysis, you can only treat what you see so you have to let the hair grow out. For laser hair removal, the treatments work while the hair shaft is still below the skin. The key for you would be to have your treatments spaced more evenly….like 4 weeks….which would ensure that the follicles were not protruding between treatments. A tighter treatment cycle may cause you to need 1 or 2 more treatments than normal, however.
