This is Ginger, my mother’s new dog. She’s a rescue dog from . . . Mississippi. Yep, there is a big network of shelters and an arrangement with one of the large pet stores to move dogs from overstocked shelters to shelters that need more animals. Now, Michigan has had the highest unemployment rate of any state for a good # of months, but our CAHS still takes in . . . and places . . . dogs from other shelters. Ginger is from Picayune, Mississippi.
The question now is: what kind of dog IS she? Any guesses?
