Question by HAILY: Girls only im on depo (birth control) and it causes hair thinning and im wondering…?
Is dying my hair going to do alot more damage im not worryed about it being dry or anything im more worried about the thinning and loss of hair….? Any advice if you are on depo or another kind of BC let me know please! I will be choseing the best answer

i would look into a new birth control. ask your doctor. everyone’s different.

Dying your hair while on depo wont do any more damage to it than if you were not on depo and dying it. Dying your hair is hard on hair. Always moisturize it regularly and I recommend having it professionaly done; they can assist you on what products you need to use and help keep it as healthy as possible.
Try to ask a good and specialist doctor it may helps you a lot coz not every body got the same effects on BC …. so its better for you to ask a specialist specially its a drug that you may intake everyday … so be careful on what ever you drink try to see the effects of the drugs in internet or pims at least before you drink any BC…. this suggestion may helps you a lot trust me..
I have been on depo forever…at least a decade, if not more. And I color my hair regularly. I have never noticed any thinning of the hair caused by either of these things.
I’ve heard that prenatal pills will help your hair grow more. (and your nails too)
