I have been experimenting with herbal infusions and now ayurvedic herbs to lengthen, strengthen, and thicken my hair. So far I’ve had much success regaining my temples, crown and nape. I massage my herbal oil mix into my scalp nightly .This is what I have been doign to retain my crown and fill it back in…now, in addition to using the oil on my scalo I am adding Shikakai powder with Suave’s Refreshing Tangerine conditioner, and sleeping with a plastic bag on over night. 3 times a week at least. @KinkyNaturalNaps Hi there, it’s an herbal/oil infusion which means I’ve taken certain herbs and oils and allowed them to be heat infused for about 4-5 hours. This process allows the oils to absorb the medicinal properties of the herbs so that you can apply them directly to your scalp for faster results. @scirillo7 I used monoxidil for women for quite a while and I think it did help a litlle, but I noticed that when I applied it, I could taste a strange taste in my mouth right away. I thought about that old stuff, DMSO, that is used in horse liniament and was touted for a while years ago as a pain relief. I think it is used to drive other things into the skin and it and the other med gets into the blood stream. Anyway, I stopped using it because I didn’t trust it. Wigs are in, anyway.
@larryfawkes Quite honestly I don’t know about the method in the video, but you are spot on, as you my husband tried the treatment suggested by the site HairLoss101. net (remove the space, Youtube is getting a little too strict about this thing, lol) and he is having great results too.
