Hair Transplant Revolution using BHT & FUE – Dr. Sanusi Umar

for more information : dermhairclinic.com DermHair Clinic covers all parts of California including: Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Marina Del Rey, New port Beach, Calabassas, South Bay, Manhattan Beach, San Francisco, San Jose, Bay Area, San Diego and many cities in California In this example, Dr Sanusi Umar uses Body hair to head transplantation alsocalled Body Hair Transplantation ( BHT ) in combination with Beard and head hair to restore a severely bald individual. Dr Umar uses BHT in patients that have a relative or absolute lack of traditional donor sources ( back of the head). Traditional/regular hair transplant methods (often strip) rely solely on the transfer of hair from the sides and back of the head to the balding areas. The number of available hair by this method is limited to 5000-6000 (in most individuals). This number is not enough to compensate for the hair loss in severely bald individuals who often would have lost 25000-50000 follicles. When 5000-6000 follicles are used to make of for this loss as would be the case with traditional hair transplantation, the result is a very thin look. Alternatively traditional hair restoration surgeries have prioritized the front (called framing of the face). In this case the 5000 follicles are placed in the top and front 9often with a high receding hairline) while the top back (Crown) is left largely unaddressed. The severely bald individuals is thus compelled to settle for a bald pate (crown) and

Got questions? Read this FAQ! WHY DID I GET A HAIR TRANSPLANT!? I’m a commercial actor (having appeared in over 100 TV ads) and need to keep myself looking as “commercial” as possible. So, like a lot of actors, that involves upkeep! And hair transplants have improved immensely in the past 20 years, to the point where you can’t tell if someone has had one or not. In fact, I already had one — about 10 years ago. But I’ve continued to lose my old hair, and needed another transplant to make my hair look fuller. (If you’re curious, you can see my commercials here: www.youtube.com ) HOW DOES IT WORK? It’s a surprisingly simple concept. They take follicles from the back of your head and place them on the top and crown of the head (wherever they’re needed), just like replanting a tree. The follicles from the back are stronger and “hang on” — and continue to grow wherever they are placed. And they’re permanent! WHAT IS FUE/NEOGRAFT? It’s the latest and greatest method of hair transplantation. Instead of making an incision in the back of the head to remove a strip of hair, advanced surgeons like Dr. Bauman can now remove one follicle at a time and place them where they are needed individually. This way, healing time is quick and there will be no linear scar on the back of the head! DOES IT HURT? Amazingly, no. I didn’t feel a thing during surgery, and after only slight discomfort the first night after surgery I felt back to normal during the minimal healing process. HOW WILL IT

    @DBSpy1

I bet they probably only work 2-3 days a week but I guess you could say that about being a painter/decorator. It would drive me mad painting walls all day but I might learn to like it if someone paid me 10K to paint their house.

one of the best cases i´ve seen men…

Is it just me, or does Dr. Umar look like a giant baby? I love his accent though. He seems like he is very suave with that accent. He could really bag a lot of chicks with that if he wanted to.

I’m definitely getting a hair transplant when I’m older. I started losing my hair when I was 16 years old. (Insane I know) Right now I’m almost 18 years old and I’m a type 2 at the Norwood scale. Right now I’m doing my best to stop my hair loss from getting worse and it seems to work. But my hairline isn’t what it once was and I want it back! You wouldn’t know how often I see 17 year old guys with hair loss. I’m definitely getting a HT and I will have hair for the rest of my life.

  7. DBSpy1 says:

Did he say 15k graphs,I don’t see how theses Doctors don’t go nuts doing this kind of work every day.

  8. GAMINDORE says:

The body hair removed will grow again ? Or not ?

  9. bronx43 says:

Yeah, I definitely agree. Not only do we have only one life, but we only have one youth. Everyday that I don’t have my hair, I lose one more day of my youth.

  10. Coolrukawa says:

part of me died also when i started losing my hair. i want my youth back. The need to restore my appearance is more important than anything else. We only have one life to live and i want to look the way i want to look.

the one good thing about this is ti’s your own hair. but they need to learn how to regrow hair from the head through cloning.

  14. WTF1920 says:

To cellerosvision: Amen! I would pay anything so I wouldn’t have to look twice my age. All these people can take the stupid porche and park it in their ass. Part of me died and I want it back!

  15. Yourdeadmeat69 says:

FYI I’ve had recent coronary bypass surgery & am exploring HT for ME to be happy with. As to where folks are at 40 or 50 if no family, in 2006, the number of single people exceeded the number of marrieds to 51% 1st time history of the US. Of those married, 2 and 3 times married with extended families is not unusual.

    Welcome to the 21st Century.

People live to their 80′s and 90′s. Fon’t diss what makes them happy, self reliant, or just recognizable to themselves: It’s psychobabble.

  16. Yourdeadmeat69 says:

You’d be surprised at the cost, considering it lasts for decades if not a lifetime. Most folks, we’re talking “Honda CIVIC” or way less, not PORSCHE TURBO. Troll the internet, troll the world, and check it out.

Prices typically range from $3.00 to $7.00 per graft, with $4 to $5 per graft being about average. Normally the price per graft also drops as the size of the surgical session increases. Depending on the needs of the patient a typical surgical session can range from 1,500 to over 4,000 grafts, resulting in a total cost of approximately £4000 to £8,000.

    Count your blessings.
Things could be a lot worse; You could have heart problems or cancer. Yet you’re complaining about your hair.

And concerning the ‘I can’t pick up chicks’ bs, Face it; if your a 40/50 something year old without a family and something going for your life by now, hair loss is the least of your problems.

    It’s mental.

Hi, I’ve learned a lot about the cause and treatments for male hair loss, and have decided to start a small business helping guys with their hair problems for a low cost. I don’t charge very much and the treatments I suggest are all tried, tested, and proven successful. They are also relatively inexpensive, and I am impartial because I only earn money from giving advice. I have already CURED at least one individual of his male pattern hair loss. Please contact me for more information :)

@rehmsmeyer but the longer a wait the more hair i loose and the more grafts i will need which is more money!

  41. rehmsmeyer says:

@Eduardo151515 The longer you wait, the price would probably actually drop. Considering that the type of surgery he had is a newer type and cost should drop after a few years.

  42. LoLoEntertainment says:

What exactly is a hair follicle? I saw it at 3:05 in that bag. Is it the hair and at the end of the hair the little white thing that prevents the hail from falling out?

  43. Eduardo151515 says:

i want to do it so bad but i dont got money! i just turn 18 and mt hair is tinning real fast and i know if i wait longer is going to cost more money

  44. matrags says:

If I take the risk of having a HT my concern is that the doctor is dedicated to giving me the best result possible with minimal scaring and interruption to my life. I’m not really concerned if the procedure constitutes a fun day out.
