PLEASE READ FOR MORE INFORMATION The length check starts somewhere around the mid 6minute mark (someone feel free to put the exact time in the comment section below). I have been natural since Dec 2003, but I have cut my hair many times, so it doesn’t nec. take 8 years to attain this length. I have made mistakes and the purpose of my vids is to display a method that would havebeen more proper than what I had done previously. My hair is blowdryed in this video This is the link to the hair shears(below). I forgot to mention that the finger grips are ergonomically designed! www.folica.com Thanks for watching!

Welcome back! You were missed!
i was told by several beauticians that, if you don’t cut the enitire length that NEEDS TO BE CUT, all you are doing is OPENING UP SPLIT ENDS that form within the hair’s length that can easily run up the hair shaft. just keep that in mind.
you and “haircrush” should get up on the yt, you both have long natural hair
Your hair is beautiful. Trying to grow my daughters hair.
have you ever used giovonni’s orqanic shampoo and conditioner ?
Wow. Your hair is beautiful.
Hi! I would like your opinion on something. I’ve been trying to do something of a “protective style” but I don’t know if it would be considered one: every day I wear my hair in a bun, and at night I comb it (with a wide-tooth comb) and put it in 4 parts. Would you consider this to be protective?
Woooow what is your secret (?_?) you have beauuuuuutiful long hair^^ Have you got indian blood? Lol
your hair grows and looks so beautiful
okay i just wanted to say i love your videos and i have been heat training my hair i love your philosophy of learning to understand your own hair and take whats out there and adapt it to you i hope you keep posting videos and best of luck to your with your future goals
My ends are thin too! I’m lower than bsl, maybe mid-back? But again, my ends are thin from breakage. I have like 4in. of thin ends, but I can cut that much off myself at once, LOL. Little my little… The thin ends can REALLY break a style! I am putting in mini twists, and they are long, but thin!! Arg! Be safe in the snow. Can you believe we got snow?! HEAVY snow… in Oct.?! Crazy!
Have you ever had a setback? if so how did you recover?
You are so right! Every time I trim my hair by myself I get more compliments than holding on to the ends.
@gigimc almost forgot… you answered my bushy ends question actually!
I’ll keep them hydrated as much as I can & keep my blowdryer cooler… this summer I washed more often but didn’t use heat at all but this fall/winter I’m trying your blow dry & less washing routine [which really does help avoid tangling] hopefully this winter as a trim little by little I’ll end this bushy end nightmare so by spring/summer I’ll see some progress. Thanx chica & good luck on the life goals!
Good for you!!!
how long do you want your hair to get?
are you on twitter? if so what is your twitter name? thanks
Hi when you flat iron your hair, have you ever thought of instead of blowdrying it first, just air dry it in twists?? so the hair is stretched. i was thinking about doing that becuase im starting to think my hair cant handle being blow dried becuase i still find split ends after im done straightening and trimming my hair. do you have any suggestions? i kno its not my flat iron becuase ive tried 2 diff flat irons gettin the same results, split ends. so im starting to think its the blow drying
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF THE “SPLIT ENDER”? YOU SHOULD LOOK AT SOME YOUTUBE REVIEWS ON IT AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK.
Please make a video on ” Just because your hair is natural doesn’t mean you have to use natural hair products”. It would be very interesting to hear your point of view based on your experience, since you have long natural hair and do not use all natural products. Thank you.
The day my hair get like yours…….I dont know what I’m gonna do with myself.. Im 36 months natural and I just reached my bra strap. *sighs*
Glad to have a vdeio from you. You are one of my favorites. Always to the point. Some people appreciate that.
Where did u get your necklace charm?
Your hair is beautiful as usual. Speaking of your career, I’ve been thinking about you lately. Are you an RDH yet? How is everything with that coming along? How is the job market in NY? Out here it’s a little tough with this recession, but we do the best we can. I hope all is going well with you and your career.
