      @stdspm14

      You are very welcome :)

      I enjoyed your video.

And as a woman the subject matter is one that interests me. We all want to have healthy beautiful hair.

I am happy to share any info I can to help people achieve their goals.

Just to point out to anyone out there who might not know what SLS stands for –
SLS stands for sodium lauryl sulfate.

      All the best to you!

    3. stdspm14 says:

      @ExoticCalli Thanks for the info!!!

    4. ExoticCalli says:

Also, steer clear of all chemical processes if you want healthy hair growth i.e bleaching, dyeing, perming/straightening etc. and don’t use heat styling appliances.

It is amazing how healthy your hair will be if you just avoid these chemical hair treatmetns and all heat appliances.

Last point, try to use organic shampoos and conditioners on your hair without SLS. SLS has been known to cause hair to thin and fall out.

Many people do not know the shampoos they are using contain this chemical.

    5. ExoticCalli says:

      Just one side note.

I hope that people realize that diet is key to healthy hair growth, particularly the consumption of protein.

Without protein your hair and nails will suffer. So, I suggest that people begin with eating good quality lean protein with every meal to begin with and if you want to supplement along with that fine but don’t expect a supplement to be your saving grace if you eat poorly especially with respect to protein restriction.

    6. ExoticCalli says:

One product that I can say works for me hair wise is “Hair Skin & Nails” by Futurebiotics.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is seeking a vitamin supplement for hair.

I only used it for my hair as my nails are very strong to begin with. They did seem to grow a little faster but one side effect is from this product is that they started to peel which I have never had an issue with.

I have tried other brands in previous years but they did not work and made me feel lousy.

@RidirichdFlann I did do another Hair vitamin video, where i did talk about vitamin E. Thanks for watching!!

    8. RidirichdFlann says:

Im a white guy with long hair and I do agree, Hair Vitamins, plus Biotin and MSM are great for hair. You should add Vitamin E and Fish oil for hair too!

    9. stdspm14 says:

@showtimegirl1 You can get it at whole food market, walamrt, or GNC. Yes your children can take them but I would only give them less than half of the recommended dosage for an adult

    10. showtimegirl1 says:

´Thank you for this tips!,im going to bouy the hair vitamins, but where can i buy them? And can my kids use them too,12 an 14 years old?

    11. stdspm14 says:

@sweetbiella Hair growth truly depends on many factors, including hereditary, hair care, and diet. I am a part of the natural community, so I follow people on youtube like kimmaytube. If you take really good care of yourself and you do not have any serious health concerns, then you can grow hair at the same rate as other races. For many of us black women, one of the major keys to having hair growth is keeping the scalp clean, moisturized, and wearing protective styles.

    14. sweetbiella says:

I’ve noticed it grows 1/2 an inch for non-black people. For us it grows 1/4 inch it’s twice as slow from other races. I once went with no relaxers for eight months and ended up with 2 inches of growth. It should’ve been 4 inches of growth if it grew 1/2 an inch every month.

      @Ninachos Thanks for the info..

    20. Ninachos says:

I myself use Vemma. Vemma provides a powerful liquid formula that makes it easy to get the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants you need to form a solid nutritional foundation. My hair has been growing really good since I been using it and so has my overal health. I got it at ninoschcaDOTvemmaDOTcom

    21. vandi135 says:

Im really impressed with the information that she’s providing but, i do know that there is nothing like a good trim to keep healthy hair. Biotin is good though!!!!

    22. NiahNicole says:

Okay, I see.. Do you feel as though getting relaxers are a contradiction to the hair growing process? Im about to start a regiment just like yours because of my hair loss, but Im still trying to figure out if i should go all natural during this growing process.

    23. stdspm14 says:

@NiahNicole You will have to look at my Video Titled Hair Journey 1

    24. NiahNicole says:

Just so everyone knows, just because this woman’s hair grew back after delivering her baby, doesn’t mean everyone’s will. My sister-in-law’s hair fell out BIG TIME after her second child (a girl) and it NEVER grew back! We’re talkin since Nov/1980!! Just want everyone to not get their hopes up, when everyone is different when it comes to both the short-term effects and long-term after-effects of pregnancy. Some women’s teeth are permanently damaged after childbirth, too.

yes the iron is not good for you it is inorganic and our body needs organic. the iron supplements are poison to the system and i would suggest research and look for foods that contain iron. plants are excellent examples.

    36. hazelphine says:

for your iron, increase your greens, i.e. spinach(organic), drink some green smoothies and it will help in growth. I drink for a base i used coconut water or spring water, frozen fruits(bananas, mangoes, pineapple, peaches and strawberries without sugar Wal-mart have their own brand with no sugar added), i added organic spinach, swiss chard, bok choy and collards i mixed it up in a blender and sip until it is all gone. (32ozs) add probiotics into your diet it definetly helps with the digestive.

    42. 4chango says:

@DolceVita Part 1: The first indicator that artificial iron supplements are dangerous is the fact that it is not absorbed well by the body. People who take iron develop constipation, green hard stool and most physicians inform their patients to take the supplement with an acid forming substance- such an ascorbic acid. The other issue with iron supplements is that this heavy metal competes with other trace minerals especially zinc and calcium.

    43. 4chango says:

@DolceVita Part 2: It for this reason that fortified foods and iron supplements have been link to infections, Parkinson, ALS, Huntington, premature aging, cataract, atherosclerosis, Alzheimer, leukemia and lymphatic cancers. Plus keep in mind that when a toxic metal is placed in your body, the system will produce red blood cells at a faster rate.

    44. 4chango says:

@DolceVita Part 3: This is why after taking iron supplements ones hemoglobin and hematocrit will appear higher. The problem is that these readings are false in the sense that this increase is not indicative of improvement, but rather the body’s way of creating excessive cells to flush out the toxic waste.

    45. 4chango says:

@DolceVita Part 4: Just by taking small doses of the following toxic metals your body will be able to produce the same “false positive” as taking ferrous sulfate: lead, mercury, cadmium and nickel. As for what to do about anemia, keep in mind that there are about 400 types of anima. Some are the results of natural iron deficiency, estrogen imbalance, thyroid issues, vitamin deficiencies or toxic metals poisoning.

    46. 4chango says:

@DolceVita Part 5: Also if a woman has her labs taken within 9 days after her menstrual cycle, the results will yield a false-positive; in other words if you are schedule for lab work wait at least 9 days after your period. Finally what can one take that is safe, again that depends on the cause; but to generalize one can take unsulphured blackstrap molasses and organic salt free black olives. Maybe I will post on my channel a naturopathic approach to anemia in the later future.

    47. DolceVita says:

@4chango WHere did you find out that iron is toxic? And what about if you are anaemic, what should you take instead?
