I tried the Nioxin with minimal results. Took vitamins, minerals, low stress, hung upside down, etc. The only thing that worked dramatically and was natural was Pelavita, an ayurvedic blend of synergistic natural plant oils from India. My improvement was 80% in 6 weeks and still going for less than $1 per day. That’s my take. I agree with the premise that you have to have an integrated approach to the root problems (pun intended).

I’ve seen pregnant women hair grow insanely. I don’t think it’s the prenatal vitamins though.

What the heck is wrong with using mane and tail?? I`v been using it for a long time and my hair always feels soft and silky, and its a protein shampoo that does not strip my hair like all the other hard detergent shampoos do! Are we not suppose to use a protein rich shampoo??? personally I love it and I will continue to use it, and It says on the bottle its also for human use!

Biotin has worked great for me. I take Biotin pills every day before and after eating a meal. My nails have grown, and my hair (which is already long) has grown tremendously. I also have Vitamin E capsules that I open and put onto my scalp on wash day, and daily take a Vitamin B100. These pills are awesome (in addition to healthy eating, scalp circulation, and water :D

I’m trying to also grow my hair longer and I’m taking Amino Acid Complex Supplements. They are basically the building blocks of protein of which your hair is made. So they’re a good thing to take, you can get them in Holland & Barrett if you happen to live in Ireland or the UK.

  22. aprilmayjune81 says:
