Have you had personal experience with laser hair removal?

I just completed my 4th treatment out of 6 on my underarms and I’m really happy with the results so far. The place that i’m doing it at is having a great special this month, and i really want to get my bikini area done, but my husband thinks I should find out if its truly permanent before I spent a bunch of money on more treatments.

I know I can google all about it, but I’d really like to know some people’s personal experiences. Is it completely permanent? Have you had any regrowth at all? How many treatments did you have in order to get rid of all of the hair?

Thanks!
What facts or links do you have to support your theory that it is “very harmful”?

I had it done about 6 years ago. Compared to the original growth i started with, I would say that the hair is still about 85% gone. There will always be some regrowth no matter how many treatments you have. I got 6 treatments originally and then i get touch ups about every year or two years. It seems that as time goes on the regrowth diminishes. I am still very happy with my results and would do it again in a heartbeat. Best decision i ever made beauty-wise. a friend of mine had her bikini line done and she said that she still has to shave but it is only a few hairs and she doesn’t get the razor burn she used to. The place you go to may be able to show you some before and after pictures of bikini areas so you can see for yourself.

im 15 and i had it done when i was 11 and so far it has been great. it works amazing. i got every where lasered including the little peachy fuzz on my belly. it is worth the money. my mom got it done when she was about my age too and she still remains completely hairless.
