well it was a prroven fact that your hair will grow when it want’s cause to be honest, there’s really no way that you can make it grow faster cause i accually wondered the same thing.

just take care of your hair and it will grow. any like multi-vitamin helps. and don’t use blow dryers or straighter and you will be fine in a month or two it will be fine

What a coincidence, i am 13 too. But I have chemically treated hair so there will be a HUGE difference. IM or EMAIL me when you get answers okay. Hopefully we can be friends with the same problems LOL.

I am currently using some TEENAGE vitamins from GNC. Hope that helps.

i know if you brush your hair like a bazillion times a day it helps the scalp or something and it grows faster.besides that, just wait a couple months and it will grow back.

Depending upon your health and genetics, your hair will grow up to 1/2″ a month. If you have had your hair layered, it seems like it will take it forever to grow out because you have to get the shortest layer to the length you want all the hair to be.

I understand you sentiments. I had my hair layered last year in September. I let it grow all year and had the layers cut off this year in August. My hair is just under chin length now. That’s not a flattering length for me, but my consolation is 1/2″ a month! It will look better by Christmas.

If your hair grows like mine did, you can have the beautician keep trimming the longest layers until the short ones catch up. It may take a full year.

As for hair conditioners and shampoos, none of them are going to make your hair grow faster. They may help you style it.

The key is to not use something that goops your hair up and weighs it down. Some shampoos/conditioners work better for some kinds of hair than others. My daughter, for example, loves Pantene. It makes her hair gorgeous. It makes mine greasy. We have different kinds of hair.

Find the combination that looks clean and bouncy on you and use it. Then let Mother Nature take her course. By this time next year you will have your own hair back.

Oh, for what it’s worth, there is an parenting author I love to read named Barbara Coloroso. Her favorite saying when deciding whether a child should be allowed to experiment with something is, “It isn’t illegal; it isn’t immoral, and it will grow back.” (She uses this summation in telling the story of her son getting his hair cut into a Mohawk.) So, getting your hair layered wasn’t illegal. It wasn’t immoral. And it will grow back. In the long run you have learned something from this and are smarter for it. Not a bad trade.
