How can I prevent hair loss or damage from S-Curl?

I’ve been growing my hair for about three months now and I’m thinking about putting S-Curl into my hair. I’ve been doing some research about it and I heard that I can caused hair loss and Damage. What steps can I take from preventing that from happening.

    Any time you straighten your hair it will do some type of damage. I would recommend have it done professionally and following the advice of the cosmetologists.

    Reconstructive treatment before and after. Use a hydrating or moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, when you wash. Use a leave in conditioner before you style with gel or anything else.
