    when my wife finished chemo her hair started to grow back quickly.

    chemotherapy isnt that selective unfortunately…it kills fast growing cells–such as most cancer cells…hair follicules produce hair cells very quickly and they divide quickly..so they are also affected by the chemo..this is also why several people on chemo suffer from inner mouth problems also..because the skin cells in your mouth and other mucous membranes grow quickly too..hair should start growing back normally after the chemo is out of your system
