@SelfProclaimedd Of course, i also carefully comb my hair, starting from the tip and slowly make my way up closer to the scalp in segments to untie tangles and prevent breakage from tugging of comb in tangles. I had hair which is weak and prone to breakage a year ago and it fall out so often everyday in shower that it was very depressing. It’s better now and from my experience, i personally believe shampoo do plays a big part too in mantaining the hair in long run since i saw a change
@SelfProclaimedd I believe hair break off and fall out due to insufficient nutirients and hair trims help by cutting off the damaged parts which always starts at the ends of hair, furthest away from the head. While hair trim do helps, there are many different factors which affects the growth like bubz said. If i am not wrong, nutrients will only be passed over to your hair when your body have sufficient to share.
@SelfProclaimedd Hi there. Even though you’re writing to bubz, i hope you don’t mind me sharing some information that i personally know. I am 158cm and have long black hair which covers my whole back. I kept that length when i was young for 6 years before cutting it for a change. I regrew it and have been keeping it for 3 years now and to tell the truth, i can count the number of hair trims i had with my fingers within the 3 years.

umm, i just got my hair rebonded (even though my hair is naturally straight) recently and my hairstylist said to put lots of conditioner, then suddenly a few weeks later my hair started having split-ends and having dry tips on my hair. how can you fix that?

the funny thing is.. since its summer.. i dont straighten my hair every day. I DON’T KNOW WHAT A HAIR MASK IS XD mm at least i cut my hair often, since im into the whole visual kei thing.. the sad thing is that i have more hair stuff than most girls… and im a guy o-o

@TheRawRush1 she did say that trimming your hair does NOT make your hair grow faster, it just feels like it because it’s not breaking off as much.
@JSGaveMeATaco uhmm.. no. even if your hair splits to the root your hair will still grow. Split ends just split faster then hair can grow, so going by you’re logic, hair will only grow if it has no split ends, so people are gonna have to constantly cut off split ends, and since they DO split faster then hair can grow, then their hair won’t grow. and its not being a bitch, its honest. she researched all this from unreliable sources. as she’s a guru, i expected her to do better.
@TheRawRush1 um trimming your tips prevents the split ends from traveling far enough up your shaft to damage the root. and you could have been not a bitch about that. learn some manners
it is normal to lose from 50-500 strands of hair per day. it’s making more room for the new hairs growing in all the time. and dont just use really hot water. while washing your hair, use a temperature that is comfortable to your scalp in particular, then rinse both shampoo and conditioner out with cold water. not freezing, but enough to feel the heat run out of your hair completely. this prevents heat damage and also supports hair growth.

ur lucky, ur hair grows fast… my nails juust grow fast: witch isnt a good thing. I literally have to cut them every 2 weeks. they grow like a quarter of a centimeter in a few days.
