Actually, it can be a fun stress reliever. In this video, I show how to shampoo and deep condition your natural/ relaxed hair with the Hydratherma Naturals Products WITHOUT EXPERIENCING TANGLES AND BREAKAGE!! This technique can be used on all hair types. In this video, I deep conditioned my hair with the Hydratherma Naturals Amino Plus Protein Deep Conditioning Treatment. @HealthyHairJourney Good information… Thanks!

  10. HealthyHairJourney says:

    @reeseereece thanks so much. Yes..that along with the growth lotion and growth oil to seal in the moisture. They both contain emu oil. Thanks!!

    Love your videos, thanks for sharing your process. I was wondering about your follicle invigorator. The front of my hair (hairline to crown & about 2-3 inches accross the top) is a looser, wavier pattern than the rest of my hair and it also does not seem as dense as the rest of my hair. I’ve worn my hair texturized for about 15 years and natural since May ’08. As I’ve gotten older, this area seems thinner. Would the follicle invigorator be good for this?

  12. NaturalJamairabic says:

    @HealthyHairJourney Thanks That sounds like my hair type. The crown of my hair and some of the front is more loose. The back is more tightly coiled. Thanks!

  13. HealthyHairJourney says:

    @NaturalJamairabic that is great!! I have a 4a/b 3 c mix. 3c only in my crown.

    Love your videos. Your an inspiration. I have been looking to figure out my hair type. No big deal but your hair reminds me of my texture when its naturaly curly. Do you know your hair type? Thanks and take care.

    @HealthyHairJourney Thank you

  16. HealthyHairJourney says:

    @ameerzakee730713105 yes, you can rinse with cold water. This will close the cuticle.

  17. HealthyHairJourney says:

    @ameerzakee730713105 Hey! A heating cap or a hand held dryer can be used if you don’t have a hood dryer.

  18. ameerzakee730713105 says:

    sorry i meant to ask this with my other question… I dont have a dryer, so how long should i leave the conditioner in for the best results

  19. ameerzakee730713105 says:

    Question?? I know to wash your hair with warm water… But should you rinse with cold water for conditioners???

  21. HealthyHairJourney says:

    @GwendolynRaine oh yes. Most definitely! Deep conditioning is a must :-)

  22. GwendolynRaine says:

    Do you deep condition hair every time you wash it?

  23. Verycuteyeah says:

    Your hair is realy beautiful. I can’t stand it when people with this type of truly wonderful curl straighten it! or wear a weave over it! Well done x

  24. HealthyHairJourney says:

    @polarBEAR819 No, I condition my hair weekly and the key is balancing our your moisture and protein levels in the hair. I alternate my Hydratherma Naturals moisture deep conditioner with the protein deep conditioner every other week to keep my hair in balance. I have more details on our HealthyHairJourney com website.
    Thanks!

    i hear that conditioning natural hair too much can break it off… is that true?
