I am experiencing hair loss, can it be an after effect of the hormonal pills that I am taking?

I am taking the pill for six months to restore my hormonal balance, and two months ago my hair started falling out in handfuls. Can it be the pill? Should I stop it?
Two months ago, too, I started crying uncontrollably, but then it
went away and I am rather calm now, but have this hair loss problem.

could be from stres, i was on the pill forawhile and this is my 3rd brand.. my other packet made me feel really emotional at times i just had to shout at people.. and i felt like crying all the time, but im on a diffrent brand
my advise
is try a diffrent kind, but the hair loss in not sure, my hair uist to fall out but that was couse i had rather big family problems and whatnot, and im a middle child so i had the pressure put on me… see a doctor and see what he says but its probaly stress… try and take things lightley if youve got ant problems.
It could be the hormones that you’re taking. I would let your doctor know what’s going on so that they can assess whether to keep you on that particular medicine or change it to a different one. Good luck!
