howdy im 21 years old , my hair has been falling out for about 1 year.. it has made me very upset ,, im not sure what i should do about it , sometimes i feel like i dont want to waste time and money at the hair club and i should just buzz my head, and other times i feel like i want to try to keep my hair,, i dont like the fact that i hear so many negetive results from people about hair loss prevention ,,, can someone with not such a negetive attitude give me some advice ,, is it worth my time and money or is it not… is a hairtransplant the only real solution ,, it seems like yes,, but there so expensive,,so i might just buzz my head and put this behind me ,, its to upsetting ,,, thank you
its receeding the typical way on the crown and above my temple …i currently feel like i will probally just keep it buzzed very short but avoid shaving it , and if it gets much worse as the years go by ,, i would consider a hairtransplant, but by the time im in my late 20′s i think loosing my hair would be much easier to accept ,,so my thougts right now are to just keep it buzzed but not shaved and see how things go,, i mean look at people like kelly slater and andre aggasi there loosing there hair but they still look awsome .. with there hair buzzed short… and some of the techniques you have told me seem like a good alternative instead of spending so much money at the stupid hair club and 10 thousand dollar hairtransplants ,, spending thousand of dollars seems stupid to me ,, i rather just keep it very short and if it gets much worse later on i would consider a hairtransplant , instead of dwelling on it all the time. im sick of dwelling on it ,,i cant let it control my life anymore

My husband uses a small round brush and massages his scalp with it two times a day. He swears it has allowed him to keep his hair for longer then any of the men in his family.

try an old age asian secret, mustard oil with mustard seeds, heat and massage in scalp at least every alternate day, try at least for 2 weeks before u see results, let me know

I hope to help one way or another. If you wear a hat a lot of the time that is the number two cause of hair loss, the number one is gene’s. To be honest most women find bald men sexy, & it makes them look more mature, not old. Just be thankful you aren’t a woman losing your hair right?! Hope you feel better about yourself. Hair plugs or a transplant is gross. It looks unnatural and I wouldn’t date a guy with them. I like au natural.

Hair loss and balding does tend to be genetic. My father and two younger brothers all had severe hair loss problems. I truly believe this treatment has saved me from the same fate. One of principal causes of loss is shampoos and other products containing harsh harmful ingredients and medicated shampoos only make the problem worse. They also cause dandruff, premature graying, inhibited growth and many more problems. Washing hair too frequently removes beneficial natural oils and harms scalp and also is a cause of loss. I found this NATURAL, safe, low cost treatment that gives remarkable results – it stops the loss almost straight away. Scalp needs stimulation to clear blocked hair ducts, remove dead follicles so it can start producing strong, well anchored, thicker hair. Massage with natural oils, olive oil is excellent, and then brush vigorously (best with a short bristled palm held brush) so you feel it stimulating scalp (35 /45 strokes or even more each day.) brushing before you apply oil is equally as good. A little shedding and some breakage occurs but only to begin with – quickly stops as hair gets anchored and stronger. Hair will grow faster, become thicker and It will also force new growth overtime (expect to see in about 2 months) My bald patch on the crown has completely regrown. Where it had receded at temples new growth was a slower process but I found, month by month , the hair line inched forward. (Initially the hairs are sparse and weak looking then overtime become denser and stronger). Do at night and sleep with it that way and wash off in the morning (because of treatment – washing daily will not be detrimental). Keep up treatment and DONĀ“T BE AFRAID OF LOSING NEW GROWING HAIRS – THEY WILL RE-APPEAR EVEN STRONGER. Using this treatment you have to have patience and persevere day in, day out but it truly works . Also do a web search “Shampoos harmful?” MANY contain sodium laurel sulphate, sodium laureth sulphate and propylene glycol, all of which are harmful. First two are dangerous and both damage hair follicles and cause hair loss. They also harm eyes.- the eye stinging you get is telling you that. Fetuses subjected to these substances do not develop functioning eyes, and both can cause cataracts in adults. Propylene glycol is a known skin irritant and is thought to cause mouth ulcers. It also damages the kidneys and liver. Do a web searches : “Non harming shampoos” “Non harming hair products” There are some which are beneficial – they are expensive but worth it.

    Hi,

First found out why your hair is falling out before you do anything drastic. Are you loosing it in patches or is it thinning?
Go to the dermatologist and ask for a blood test it could be something simple as low iron that could make your hair fall out, or have you dyed it or permed it that could do it also.

I know people who lost their hair and society and doctors are not so nice to them, but they have a healthy attitude and dont really care what people think, and they went to several doctors before they found one who was sympathetic to their situation.

There are several website you could google on hairloss or alopecia.

But before anything go see a doctor before you do anything yourself.

    Good Luck

i started at 17. tried a lot of things with no results. Just take vitamins for ur hair and stay as positive as possible, if u get stressed out ur hair will fall out quicker.

When i shaved my head my hair actually grew in a lil thicker. It kind of comes in stages, sometimes the hair looks really thin and other times pple cant tell. But I have decided to keep my head shaved bc I am fortunate to have the nice round head for it. I have actually gotten some compliments on the shaved look.

Dont let this control ur life bc there are much more important things to be concerned about……like the Giants winning the super bowl.

okay as a stylist i would recommend you going to a hair salon and purchasing a trail kit of nioxin, and the nioxin follicile booster… and take some vitamins,,, to me this works, i have alot of customers that come in with thinning and loosing hair, so i told them about it and within months there hair was thicker…..the only thing nioxin is on the expensive side…also try massaging your scalp. try to stay positive about it and dont stress (stress makes it fall out as well)

    good luck
