Jackie Barnett to Release New Album on March 16 Entitled Natural










Cambridge, England (PRWEB) March 16, 2006

Jackie Barnett will release a 5 track CD entitled “Natural” on March 15 2006. The album written by Jackie and co Writer/Producer Tony Ginger, feature a new line up for the studio sessions that ran from the end of 2005 through till February 2006.

Speaking of the origins of the new music, Barnett said, “So much of my writing, particularly when I write acoustically, comes straight out of the country/rock tradition. Making this album was creatively liberating, by using musicians that I have not had the pleasure to work with in the past brought a new feel to my music.”

“Natural” was recorded at orchard cottage recording studio’s in Willingham just outside of Cambridge UK. With Mike Venning engineering and co producing the Album. The musicians on the record are Jackie Barnett (lead vocal), Tony Ginger (Guitar), Ian Addamsom (Guitar) Peter scrivener (Bass guitar), Nick Waldock (bass Guitar), Kevin van Dort (drums and percussion), Dave Brooks (drums), Simon Pergande (Keyboard), Charlotte Pergande (Backing vocal), Vic (Harmonica), ‘Natural’ will be released in Compact Disc format.

Jackie is planning a short tour in the U.K. and Europe to accompany the release of the album. She will be appearing with most of the musicians who appeared on the CD. Details will be announced separately. According to Jackie’s long-time Co Producer Tony Ginger, “Natural’ has a lightness and ease to it, a sheer joyfulness, that makes it very special from top to bottom. Jackie has taken a group of musicians from very different fields and woven a beautiful combination of traditional and modern songs to make a personal statement.”
