The difference between cleared and approved is a bit much for this forum. But the Approval process is much more involved. A google search of the difference will make it clear to you.

thanks for the comments. a good and reputable colleague of mine has been getting good results reportedly with this technology. however, i am in agreement with your dubious perspective on this technology. also, your comment about the fda is dead on right. thanks again for the comments.
Low Light Laser for hair growth does not work.
The first and foremost reason is because laser light simply cannot penetrate to the body of the hair follicle, a major oversight on the part of the LLLT industry and one they reget making now that they are commited to their “theory”.
Not a single LLLT representative has come out to oppose or correct this basic observation. Why do you think that is?
Also, LLLT has been CLEARED by the FDA not APPROVED.
