Question by (Persepolis): natural hair?
i have relaxed hair and im thinking about going natural. Can’t i just stop using relaxer and just let the roots of my hair grow out without cut my hair off ? Or just let my hair grow, then cut of the natural ends ?

i did it b4, did not have to cut off my hair just let it grow out, and to speed up the natural process try some beer (any kind), to wash it with, always use conditioner in your hair during this process its keeps it healthy.

you can stop using relaxer and let your hair grow out. While you’re letting it grow out you can wear your hair in braids, or in many other styles. But, if you want to be 100% natural, you have to eventually cut off the relaxed ends. Check out nappturality.com, it is very helpful and have a lot of people going through the same thing. On the left hand side of the website, click the link entitled “Napptural forums”, then scroll down and click “Transitioners Discussion”. This is where the people who are transitioning from relaxer to natural hair talk about stuff, like what hair styles to wear, and how to deal with both textures on your head at the same time.
