Hi, I wouldn’t recommend that for daily use. I recommend olive oil for deep conditioning treatments. Please see my video on this. For use before styling, you’ll want something lighter. Buy a good leave in conditioner or you can use jojoba oil. ojoba oil is better as it is much lighter.

with the leave in conditioner, can I use the olive oil?

Hi, blow drying would be better than flat ironing, but be sure you don’t blow dry your hair bone dry that can be drying and damaging.

  7. RandomTribal says:

@YouTips4U Hmm well I’ve always had oily hair so I stopped using conditioner for a while but it hasn’t helped. So would blow drying be better? I shower every morning for school. Thanks for the feedback!

  8. YouTips4U says:

Hi, yes you can absolutely do this with any length hair. I usually don’t recommend shampooing everyday unless you have excessively oily hair. Sometimes switching to a different shampoo can help. some shampoos have too much conditioners in them and they leave hair weighed down and it gets oily right away. Definitely be gentle about removing the excess water; aggressive is a no no :o )

  9. RandomTribal says:

Hi, this works for medium lengthen hair, correct? My hair also gets very oily after I wear a cap or sleep, so I shower everyday. Is that fine? And I aggressively dry my hair with the towel but now I know its bad. :(

Hi, I really don’t recommend washing your hair every day unless you have excessively oily hair.. It can cause drying of both your hair and scalp.

  11. GymnasticsStarter247 says:

would you recommend doing this everyday?

  12. huladancer09 says:

I thought I was the only one that washes my hair twice, upside and use different shampoos alternately.

this is so cool. i colored my hair like a month ago, and my aunt said that i have to take cold showers so yu dont have to redye yur hair, but taking cold showers would give me a really bad cold.
so this helped A LOT! haha. thank yu!

  14. YouTips4U says:

Hi, I understand your frustration. Perhaps try a different conditioner. I recommend Neutrogena Triple Moisture, Daily Deep Conditioner. I also recommend you use a leave in conditioner with detangler before styling.

  15. kitkatrachel1 says:

@BloodyBlossomxD how about get it trimed or cut?

  16. kitkatrachel1 says:

thats my method of washing my hair

  17. BloodyBlossomxD says:

I have thin long hair that is about your lengh and its extremely dry and tangly. I could wash my hair get it untagled and in the next five minutes its in these huge knots again. I use Dove as my conditioner and shampoo. I honestly have no idea what to do, i put my hair in ponytails everyday since it hides the knots. My hair is pretty fluffy and i have really tight curls, any advice?

  18. YouTips4U says:

You’re very welcome! Just remember not to swirl your hair all around when washing. Just concentrate on shampooing your scalp in a gentle massaging way :o )

  22. YouTips4U says:

Hi, yes it will definitely work for you. I do recommend that you brush through your hair before you wash it to remove tangles and knots.

  23. glovesave1995 says:

What if I have long hair but its really curly and always gets in knots after practice. I take showers after practice, will this still work?
