I am a natural too, I try to wear braids for protective styles but they irritate me because i have ezema. how do you protect you ends. it seems you wear you hair out alot.

@PurpleQueen14 I agree partially. I love my hair worn OUT and BIG lol. But often it allows for increased dryness and subsequently damage so what you see is probably a protective style. Just trying to make sure the hair has maintained moisture so that it CAN be worn open when you really want to. Years ago when I had relaxed hair it wasn’t a worry but you really see a difference when you wear your hair natural. Each individual hair type is different so each has to do what’s best for their hair.
Although I would not rock these styles for myself, they look great on you. I’m sure some other naturalistas with similar hair types would find them appealing. Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll keep watching!

i dont understand how you keep your hair so manageable after styling. my hair will be manageable for 1 day and then it gets hella knotty, dry, shrunken, and just ugly!! i was loving my blow out forever but now my hair is even more dry and damaged with LOTS of breakage. idk what to do! i want my hair to b like yours!!
