Question by Bailey <3: What are good hair products to use for emo hairstyling?
I really want emo hair. And I’m wondering for females what the best products to style this hair that aren’t to expensive.
1. Hair straightener for medium to short hair. $
2. Hair gells and hair sprays. $
3. Hair protection against hair straighteners. $ $
Please try to have the prices listed and the brand and stuff.
Thanks!

well, u coud get some really cheap products at local stores, like Target or even Walmart. I can’t list the prices or anything, but my cousin uses a brand called Emo, he also used some bright green cream, idk what its called tho. I think the cheapest you could get Emo is a dollar gor a small traveling size. Emo makes gelz, sprays, dyes, moisterisers, shampoo, almost anything. I use it sometimes even tho Im not emo, its really good for any kind of style really. My friend dyed her hair using Emo’s fire orange color, and it looks really bright, neon, glowy, not to mention awsome. But after a year, the color starts getting pale, but yu could always dye it over.

1. My hair is medium length, and I got my straightener from Rite Aid since I’m not rich and all. A decent straightener from stores like Target, Walmart, and Rite Aid should do fine. Just don’t buy straighteners under 20 dollars.
2. Hair Gel…I suggest you not to use it unless you want to spike up the back of your hair. It makes your hair look very stiff, not to mention greasy. There is this AWESOME hairspray called ‘Mink’. They don’t sell these at stores anymore, but you can get them from Amazon.com. (Link is in the source) Well, Wallgreens supposedly have them, but I never saw them there. These hairspray work very well, and I have been using it for two years. They don’t make your hair look stiff at all (in fact, it leaves your hair look naturally soft and silky), leave no white stuff behind, and gives a shine to your hair. Mink is around $ 3.50 The shipping is about 5 dollars, so it would be around 9 dollars if you buy it from online. If not, I recommend Bedhead, which is around 11 dollars. It’s a little expensive, but it works pretty good, though not as good as Mink.
3. Nexxus Heat Protexx, end of question. It’s a little expensive (13 dollars for a small bottle) but it’s the best sh!t ever. If not, try Beyond The Zone, it’s about 7 bucks, and you can get them from Sally’s Beauty Supply or online.
1. Honestly the best type of flatiron to get is a Chi. It’s expensive but totally worth it. It works amazing and lasts forever too. I’ve had mine for going on 4 years. cost= $ 100-150
2. I use got2b glued for hairspray. Pretty inexpensive and works great. I tease the hell outta my hair and it holds the teasing all day. cost=$ 5 for a decently big can
3. When I got my Chi I got a free heat protector thing but honestly I think they are a waste of money and not worth it.
the nice thing is now everything will be crazily on sale because of the holidays so you can probably get it all for a lot cheaper…especially the straightener.
