SEVERE HAIR DAMAGE! HELP!!?

At the moment I am trying to grow out my revolting hair job.
~~It all started when I wanted to destroy my natural mousy ash blond hair colour so I started off with some bleach, I went well feeling too confident: I went over the top with the strongest bleach for hair possible. My hair was already fine in texture and very hard to make look decent. Now its thinning, chunks have fallen out and i have to pull it all back in old lady fashion, the blunt fringe I had is now a thin little sheet of yellow straw.
I desperately want to sport the edgy black a-line bob with bangs look.
but my hair is brittle and looks worse everyday (with the progressing regrowth)
I really need some insight, I am yet to try a protein treatment.
I was wondering, Is this hairstyle possible If I got it professionally done, with maybe some fake hair added to make the bob fuller and give it the desired shape? should I be dying at this point with only a couple inches of regrown hair? or should I continue to regrow my hair and start a treatment regime?
this is literally destroying my life. If I could wear a wig I would. I can’t go out in public, it looks absolutely ghastly.
