Simply Boulder Culinary Sauces recently launched their newest product, Pineapple Ginger. Similar to the rest of Simply Boulder’s products, Pineapple Ginger is gluten free, made with extra virgin olive oil, 100% natural, vegetarian, and sweetened with agave nectar. This versatile sauce has a distinctive pineapple flavor and the ginger gives it an Asian twist. Shipments have already started being delivered to retail outlets and it’s expected to be in several more stores this spring.

This sauce gives consumers additional options when it comes to gluten free foods. As “The Gluten-Free Food and Beverage Market: Trends and Developments Worldwide, 2nd Edition” reported, the gluten free category has grown on average 28% annually (compound annual growth rate) from 2004 to 2008. From 2009 to 20012 it’s expected to grow by 61.53% with $ 2.6 billion in sales annually by 2012.
