I am so glad you made this video. I purchased Wen last year and I used it on my relaxed hair and it felt incredibly dry and brittle afterwards…so I stocked it away thinking that mayb I had a negative reaction b/c my hair was processed. Yesterday I bc’d and I was thinking about trying the Wen out again. I’m so glad I subscribed to your channel/saw this video b/c I can’t afford to take any chances w/ my twa. I’ve never heard of any hair loss being attributed to Wen b4, so thx for sharing your e

@sixtyninewoman Sorry to hear that. many of the women on the hair boards said they went to a dermatologist when their hair wouldn’t grow back. If what you’re doing doesn’t work, you should try that.

@simplenametag I knew I wasn’t nuts. I’m hypersensitive about body signs, too. I notice EVERYTHING.

@simplenametag , I agree. To make this short. I used WEN on my 13yr old daughters hair. I never relaxed her hair. Anyway, last month i saw a penny size bald spot on the back of her head, which is now a quarter size. I tried(in my head) to deny it’s WEN. But have decided to stop using it to see what happens. I had bloodwork drawn on her today. I forgot to say, i used WEN on her hair exclusively for one year and nothing else in between. I just hope the spot does’nt continue to grow.

No dear its not just you. I used Wen for maybe a year or two and started to have hair loss, not dramatic but enough of it at the front of my scalp. At first I thought it may be due to something else and so went about taking hair vitamins etc and looking at what products I was using on my hair which is close to nil. So I stopped using Wen which I swore by, really really loved it but decided to stop and my hair now is back to its former glory. I think some of the ingredients are bad for a few.
