My son started losing his hair severely at 17. After 3 doctor visits it was determined that it was genetic. He went on Propecia and within 3 months his hair completely stopped falling out. He didn’t regrow what he lost, but at least saved what he had. The only downside of propecia is that it plays with your hormones and the first couple of months were a little emotional. After 3 months, the hormones even out and everything is fine. The other thing is that you MUST take it every day. You can’t miss a day and you can only get a 30 day supply at a time so you have to plan ahead when you start to run low. Good luck!
