i’m caucasian with lots of fine, curly hair that is very long and frizzy and requires lots of product to control the frizz. i cant blow dry my hair straight myself as it puffs but stylists can easily blow dry straight it but it still looks a bit frizzy.i usually wear my hair curly which i love, but i have been considering keratin treatment to change my look. i would like to have straighter , less frizzy hair for a while but i dont want to lose my curls forever or till regrowth. will the coppola complex keratin treatment affect my curls permanantly ? what about the global keratin one? please answer if u have experience .

no not permentaly i had a friend that hair like yours and shw would go and get this treatment done. im not sure what she did though to make her hair curly again. she probably had to perm it.
Being that any Keratin will straighten your hair.. I don’t suggest you doing it.. your curls will never look the same…
Talk to your stylist about moisturizing treatments instead of Keratin. You hair will be more moisturized and it will make it less frizzy. Also consider changing your shampoo/condition, check out HAIRONE at sally’s it’s like the WEN system. really amazing.
Hope this helps !!
Do not chemically straighten your hair. The only product I have experience with is the Liquid Keratin. It lasts about 30 days. There seems to be a general liking of this product. It’s easy and affordable.
I heard it lasts for a few weeks to months.
I had global keratin done when my hair was long, my hair takes a lot to get straight it’s naturally thick and wavy/frizzy. It will tame the frizz and straighten it to a certain extent but don’t expect it to be perfectly straight because it won’t be. if it’s a formaldehyde free keratin treatment it wont permanantly affect your curl, it actually makes hair in better and stronger condition. it does now grow out it will gradually fade with every wash.
